About Us -- Our History

Hardy family portrait 2 I was saved in 1993 while serving in the U.S. Army as an AH-64 Apache helicopter pilot. On my return to the states I was stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL and began attending weekend services at The Rock of Panama City under Apostle F. Nolan Ball. On a drive to Panama City from Ft. Rucker, Holy Spirit said that I was "called to be an Apostle." This was confirmed by prophetic word many times. It was during these 3 years that I met the former Leigh Lamonica of Panama City and we wed July 1st 1995. Two months later we were transferred to Ft. Hood, TX. It was during this time that Holy Spirit said "we would go to Boulder" and also that I needed to leave the military and "be equipped for the ministry by F. Nolan Ball." In January 1997, our small family left Ft. Hood and the military to return to Panama City, FL to be equipped for the ministry. Apostle Ball brought me on staff March 15th, 1997.

Hardy family portrait 2 We served on staff with Apostle for 7 1/2 years. During those years, I served as Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and what ever else was needed. It was during those years that I became a spiritual son of Apostle Ball. On a ministry trip to the Pacific Northwest, Apostle Ball informed me that it was time to establish my own house in the land that Yahweh had put into my heart. We were sent out the following September. We were sent as sons to establish a kingdom ekklesia. A true Five-fold, Spirit-empowered family of passionate believers.

We came with a word.
We came with a vision.

It was a beautiful sight to behold our land on Oct. 1, 2004. The land that the Father had prepared for me and my family was everything we ever dreamed. I began pursuing lease property immediately but found the local governments to be less than cooperative. After a three week ministry trip to Kenya in Nov/Dec, I finally located the building that would be the temporary home of The Rock of Frontrange. After renovation and refitting, 1668 Valtec Lane became a sanctuary of Yahweh’s Glory. Our first service was May 15th, 2005. With 21 people attending we opened with the song "Great Day to Celebrate." What a fitting response to an awesome journey with our Heavenly Father. Since that time we have grown numerically but more importantly spiritually. Apostle Ball and the congregation of The Rock of Panama City purchased a 9 acre tract of land on E-470 (the loop around Denver) and gave it to The Rock of Frontrange on which to build our permanent home. It is a great location for a Regional Ministry and will be a glorious home.

Apostle Ball and Apostle Erich Recently, I have been compared to a cross between a Lion and a Butterfly. The lion represents the strong spirit that can take on anything and the butterfly represents a lightness of spirit that flies in the Rest of God.
